School-Based SLP | Midland Park, New Jersey Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Midland Park, NJ Job Details Contract $27 - $100 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong skills in individualized and group interventions Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Flexible, collaborative, and effective communicator
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services Deliver therapy sessions in both one-on-one and small group formats, tailoring interventions to diverse needs Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment results, and documentation for compliance Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize student outcomes Provide recommendations, support, and resources for classroom accommodations and strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program evaluation and improvement Working as a contract SLP, you'll have the opportunity to design impactful interventions, foster student growth, and contribute to a team of professionals dedicated to educational excellence.
