Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on K-12 students by providing speech-language support in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity invites you to work full-time with diverse students across all grade levels, helping each one grow their communication skills and achieve success in school. Ideal candidates hold expertise in school-based speech-language pathology and are comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families. The role encompasses assessment, therapy, and consultative services, giving your work a direct influence on each child's learning journey.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience within a school setting, supporting K-12 populations preferred Knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven interventions Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
What You'll Do:
Provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic services to K-12 students Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Keep thorough records of student performance and interventions Offer guidance on assistive technology or accommodations as needed Support ongoing communication with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and strategies This opportunity allows you to hone your professional skills through hands-on experience with students from diverse backgrounds.
