Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This on-site, full-time contract role empowers you to make meaningful impacts in student communication and language development, collaborating with a supportive team in an engaging school environment near Westfield, MA. In this position, you'll utilize your bilingual abilities and SLP expertise to provide high-quality assessment, intervention, and support services to diverse student populations. You'll contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), facilitate family and teacher communication, and document student progress—all while fostering inclusive, positive learning spaces.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold an active Massachusetts SLP license (CCC and school-based SLP credentials required) Demonstrated bilingual proficiency for effective communication across diverse learners Proven experience supporting students in school settings preferred Able to successfully complete drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check Dependable transportation and a strong attendance record Committed to timely communication, especially in regard to absences
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide targeted therapy to students with speech and language needs Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student growth Develop, implement, and track IEPs and intervention plans Maintain precise documentation, progress notes, and required records Engage in family meetings and school staff collaboration to optimize student outcomes
