Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact by providing speech and language services in a supportive clinic environment close to Scarborough, ME. This full-time contract role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is dedicated to helping students achieve clear communication and greater confidence.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Current state SLP license (or ability to obtain before start date) Prior experience working in school or pediatric clinic settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and student-focused approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 15 students Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each student's communication needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and district guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team-based planning
