Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-8 students during a critical time in their educational journey. This position is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentialing who is passionate about helping learners reach their fullest potential. Provide essential coverage while our in-house SLP is on maternity leave from August through October, ensuring seamless services for students in need.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience supporting school-aged children, particularly grades K-8 Strong collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams Capacity to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to a diverse caseload Effective documentation and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language services according to students' IEPs Conduct screenings, assessments, and report results to parents and staff Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication disorders Document progress and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with school policies Attend IEP meetings and provide input on goals and student progress as needed Support students and staff with strategies to foster a language-rich environment during the leave period Be part of a dedicated educational community during a vibrant time of the year and make a positive difference for students requiring consistent speech-language services.
