Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and language development in an educational setting near Grandview, TX. Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a lasting impact will thrive in this collaborative, student-focused environment. You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) required for practice in schools Previous experience working with school-age children, including those with varied diagnoses and IEPs Strong collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, families, and other school professionals Ability to develop and implement personalized therapy plans and effectively document progress
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs in accordance with federal, state, and local mandates Design and deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy for individual students and small groups Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Maintain up-to-date documentation, progress notes, and required reports Educate and communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies, progress, and classroom modification recommendations Support a positive, inclusive environment for all students Enjoy the opportunity to foster meaningful progress for students, work with dedicated colleagues, and sharpen your professional skills in an engaging school community.
