Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity is ideal for motivated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Your expertise will support students' communication development and educational success through direct onsite engagement.
Qualifications:
Active NC Speech-Language Pathology license required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Previous experience in a school setting or with K-12 populations preferred. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educational teams and families. Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting student needs. Adaptability and commitment to working onsite as required (not a remote/virtual/VOCO position).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload. Perform assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student learning and participation. Engage in team meetings, consultation, and professional development activities. Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
