Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Rome, GA. This role involves providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The position demands collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students in the school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and reviews
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-age children preferred Knowledge of speech-language disorders and effective intervention strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
