Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis in the Mosheim, TN area. This essential role allows you to apply your expertise in communication disorders to foster growth, confidence, and academic success for students in a supportive school setting.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered Previous school-based SLP experience highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progressKey Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs within the school system Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Provide therapy sessions in individual and group settings, adapting approaches as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and parent communication Advocate for students' communication needs across academic and social environmentsBenefits & Perks:
