Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a stable weekly schedule and a dedicated focus on providing both direct and indirect speech therapy services throughout the academic year. Enjoy the benefit of being fully present for your role, with no extra duties such as bus supervision or parent pick-up obligations beyond your contracted hours.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current SLPA licensure or eligibility to practice in North Carolina Experience or strong interest in working within educational settings Ability to deliver engaging and effective intervention in both group and individual settings Strong organizational and communication skills Professional, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting student needsYour Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
Implementing prescribed speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP Supporting students' communication needs in the classroom and special education environments Maintaining accurate data collection and progress notes on each student Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other school personnel Assisting with the preparation of materials and activities that foster student participationWhat Makes This Role Attractive:
