Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a dynamic middle and high school environment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract assignment. This full-time position spans from August 2026 to November 2026, offering you the chance to make a genuine impact on students' communication development. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, especially with middle and high school populations Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and supporting speech/language goals Ability to adapt strategies for diverse learning needs in an educational setting Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Previous healthcare-related SLPA experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of direct speech and language interventions under the guidance of onsite SLPs Assist in documenting students' progress towards established goals Carry out screening and therapy sessions according to individual education programs Work with classroom teachers and staff to integrate communication goals Encourage and motivate students, helping them achieve their personal milestones Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed This contract role provides an excellent platform to apply your knowledge and grow professionally within a vibrant school community.
