School Bus Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, ensuring the highest level of customer service while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to adapt to various driving environments, including paratransit, shuttle services, and school bus operations. Duties Safely operate vehicles including vans, shuttles, and motor coaches while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Drive in various conditions while managing schedules effectively to meet passenger needs. Document daily vehicle usage, incidents, and maintenance needs accurately. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely service delivery. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields such as paratransit, shuttle driving, school bus driving, or delivery driving is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position with passenger endorsement. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
