Overview We are seeking energetic and responsible School Bus Drivers to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and friendly transportation of students to and from school each day. Your dedication will help create a positive experience for young learners while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Duties Safely operate school buses and other transportation vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. Transport students to designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and cleanliness. Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and dispatchers. Manage student behavior on the bus through positive behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate records of routes, student attendance, and vehicle maintenance logs. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, coordinating with authorities as needed. Experience Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving preferred; previous school bus driving experience is a plus. Strong communication skills. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness. Experience working with children or in childcare settings is advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations related to student transportation is beneficial. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to handle behavior management effectively while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
