Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting middle school students as a school counselor for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is based near Castle Rock, CO, and is essential in guiding students through their academic, social, and emotional development. Ideal candidates have experience working as Counselors or Guidance Counselors within a school environment and are dedicated to empowering middle school students. Your skills and compassion will provide crucial guidance, helping students navigate important years of growth.
Qualifications:
Active School Counseling License in Colorado Previous experience as a School Counselor, Guidance Counselor, or similar role Enthusiasm for working with middle school students Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff Professional, organized, and adaptable to different situations
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs Collaborate with staff and families to create positive experiences for students Implement programs addressing topics such as peer relationships, conflict resolution, academic planning, and self-esteem Assist students with problem-solving, goal-setting, and transitions Maintain accurate and confidential records Contribute to an inclusive, supportive school climate Step into a rewarding role where you'll help shape confident and resilient learners.
