Job Description

Category Schools - Interpreter Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Sign Language Interpreter to a supportive educational environment for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, working closely with 1-2 high school students to ensure full access to classroom content and communication. You'll play a vital role in facilitating learning and social interaction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, making a meaningful impact every day.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting skills Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting preferred Certification or licensure as required by state or national standards Strong understanding of Deaf culture and the needs of high school students Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Reliability and commitment to a full school-year contract
Key Responsibilities:
