Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid LPN or RN license Previous experience in school settings, particularly with students requiring complex medical care, is a plus Skilled in patient transfers and familiar with mobility assistance Understanding of seizure management and emergency care protocols Compassionate, patient, and attentive to both medical and personal care needs Ability to collaborate smoothly with staff and families Available for full-time (30+ hours/week) commitment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct medical and personal care for a student with severe epilepsy Accompany the student on the school bus, ensuring safety during transport Perform two-person transfers, assist with wheelchair use, and support with feeding, dressing, and toileting Oversee use of soft shell helmet and manage health-related needs across school environments Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the school team regarding the student's care This contract position offers compensation of $40-50 per hour based on licensure and experience.
