School Nurse

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our team at Master's Ranch Christian Academy in Myrtle, MO. The School Nurse will play a vital role in promoting student health and well-being within the school environment. Masters Ranch Christian Academy is a Baptist Christian boy's ranch for troubled teens giving them a chance for a healthy family relationship and becoming productive members of society. We currently have an opening for a School Nurse. This is a full time position. Monday - Friday. 8 am to 4 pm Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Graduation from an accredited program with either an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse Degree (LPN). Current CPR/AED certified. Must be proficient in the use of email, the internet, and Microsoft products, and be able to apply these skills towards the necessary organization, documentation and communication requirements of this position. Excellent organization skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks and activities. An ability and enthusiasm for promoting the school and its mission to a broad and diverse group of people. Excellent work ethic, positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to perform tasks assigned Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students and teachers in school environment and community

Position Responsibilities:

Provide professional nursing services, first aid, illness, nursing assessment, and emergency care to students, guided by the nursing process and sound decision-making process in accordance with school policies and procedures. Provide emergency response and first aid; must be able to perform CPR and use an AED. Administer medication with appropriate safety-checks and documentation. Provide staff training for medication administration Assess student injuries and illnesses and all Follow-ups for continued care Monthly student height and weight charting First Aid/CPR Training to staff Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.

Schedule:

5 Days a week 8 am - 4 pm (8 hour shift) , nights and weekends on call for emergencies, some schedule flexibility

Pay Range:
