Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, part-time opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving students in a supportive, onsite school environment near Weatherford, TX. This contract role runs from June 1st through June 25th, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact during summer programming. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license required Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to effectively manage a caseload of students with diverse needs Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and ancillary staff Experience attending or contributing to ARD meetings is a plus Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and engagement in studentsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 54 students and provide consultative support for an additional 14 students Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in alignment with each student's goals Prepare comprehensive IEP documentation and maintain accurate records Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, & Dismissal) meetings, sharing input and recommendations for student progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize results and ensure continuity of care Maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy space for every student Enjoy a consistent, two-hour-per-week schedule that allows you to share your expertise without sacrificing other professional or personal commitments.
