Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact supporting students' growth by bringing your occupational therapy skills to a rewarding school-based contract role near Heyworth, IL. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state licensure as an OT School-based experience highly preferred, but not required Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes Excellent communication and organization abilities Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess student abilities, needs, and environments to develop and implement effective therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student independence and success within the school setting Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and document progress Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student goals beyond the therapy session Maintain thorough, timely documentation and comply with all regulatory and procedural standards Contribute positively to the school's multidisciplinary team and learning environment This contract opportunity allows you to use your expertise directly within the educational system, supporting students as they develop essential life skills.
