Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing vital occupational therapy services to students in an educational setting near California, MD. This opportunity spans a full academic year, supporting either early intervention (11-month assignment) or K-12 students, depending on experience and interest. Your expertise can make a tangible impact in the lives of children as you collaborate with educators, families, and support staff throughout the district.
Key qualifications:
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is preferred Ability to manage and organize caseload documentation efficiently Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and team members Passion for supporting student growth and educational outcomes Primary responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and consultative services tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs) Work collaboratively with educators and parents to develop strategies that address fine motor, sensory, and functional school skills Maintain thorough documentation and meet district, state, and federal compliance standards Contribute to team meetings, share insights on student progress, and provide training as needed Adapt intervention recommendations and materials to ensure accessibility for all students This full-time contract position commences August 10th, 2026, and continues through June 17th, 2027, with caseload options for either early intervention or K-12.
