Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist within an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity, conveniently located near Morgan Hill, CA, places you at the heart of student growth and achievement. Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy Solid understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with writing and implementing intervention plans Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Ability to manage a diverse student caseload with varying needs and ages Strong organizational and time-management skills, particularly for documentation and scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with a range of abilities Document and track progress in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines Deliver direct and consultative OT services both individually and in small-group settings Collaborate with special education staff and general education teachers to support students' access to curriculum Educate staff and parents on strategies to assist students outside therapy sessions Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student supports Adapt to evolving schedules and priorities as determined by school and student needs This position invites you to thrive within a supportive school community and truly make a lasting difference in students' lives.
