Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity where your skills as an Occupational Therapist will make a significant difference for students. Serving on-site in a supportive educational environment, you'll use your expertise to empower learners to achieve their fullest potential throughout the new school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice Recent school-based OT experience preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering student independence, engagement, and growth
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, from initial evaluations through ongoing interventions Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals Support students' participation in classroom activities, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to district and state policies Attend and contribute to team meetings, IEP discussions, and professional development sessions throughout the school year Adapt interventions to each student's unique strengths, challenges, and learning needs This contract position offers the chance to gain valuable school-based experience, impact students' educational journeys, and work within a welcoming team dedicated to student success.
