Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in students' lives by stepping into a vibrant educational environment as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This full-time, school-year contract opportunity welcomes those who thrive while working hands-on to support children's educational success. In this in-person role, you'll work closely with educators and support staff to deliver essential therapy services, helping students build foundational skills for the classroom and beyond.
What We're Seeking:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for school-aged children Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population Strong organizational skills to support service documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' developmental and functional needs Design and implement engaging therapy interventions for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success Monitor and report student progress toward IEP goals Adapt strategies and activities to align with each student's unique strengths and challenges Maintain thorough records to ensure compliance with school policies and procedures Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary teams Enjoy the opportunity to create meaningful connections, help students reach their potential, and develop your professional skills in an energetic school setting.
