Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await for an Occupational Therapist interested in making a positive impact across a diverse student population! This part-time, contract-based role provides district-wide support, spanning from preschoolers to students in the transition program (ages 18-22). You'll work on site 2-3 weekdays per week—a consistent schedule focused on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third day of your choice—collaborating closely with educators and families to foster student growth and independence. The contract runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing steady, meaningful work through the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in the state. Previous experience in a school-based setting is essential. Strong ability to adapt interventions for a wide age range (Early Childhood-Young Adult transition). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork with multi-disciplinary staff. Keen attention to documentation and compliance requirements. Flexibility to travel across various school sites as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform assessments, develop and implement IEP-based interventions, and deliver direct therapy services. Support students in achieving their educational, social, and functional goals across environments and grade levels. Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student participation and success in school routines. Maintain accurate records, session notes, and progress reports. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities as assigned.
