Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist providing specialized support in an engaging school setting near Lindsay, CA. Key Qualifications:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with credentials meeting California requirements Experience working in school environments strongly preferred Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapeutic interventions Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Evaluate student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory-processing, and adaptive functioning needs Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, families, and support staff Provide ongoing documentation, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed to foster student success Educate and guide school personnel and families to ensure carryover of strategies in multiple environments Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines Working as a contract Occupational Therapist in this setting offers you a hands-on, impactful role among a dedicated group of educators and therapists.
