Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a thriving K-12 school setting near Sterling Heights, MI. Two full-time professionals are needed to deliver Occupational Therapy services during the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is essential for promoting student success by addressing a variety of developmental, sensory, and academic needs within a collaborative educational environment. Your expertise as a qualified Occupational Therapist will make a measurable impact on students' daily lives, helping them achieve their goals in both school and life. You'll partner with dedicated educators and staff, focusing on student-centered interventions and creative problem-solving.
Key Qualifications:
Active Michigan OT license (please include a current screenshot of your license with your application; verify status ) Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience required Knowledgeable in serving K-12 populations, tailoring support to different developmental stages Ability to work collaboratively with school teams, students, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to K-12 students in individual and group settings Conduct assessments, develop IEP-based intervention plans, and monitor progress Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student success Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IEP process Adapt interventions to the unique needs of each student and classroom This full-time, 35-hour/week contract role offers a chance to make a lasting difference within a supportive community of professionals dedicated to student growth.
