Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Unlock your next adventure in pediatric therapy by joining a dedicated school-based team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. Serving across two locations—spending two days in the north and two in the south—you'll have a balanced weekly routine with flexible, part-time hours: approximately four hours daily, four days each week. What you'll bring: Valid Louisiana OT or COTA license (required) School-based experience or passion for pediatric/early intervention strongly preferred Ability to adapt and build rapport with preschool-aged children Team spirit and readiness to collaborate with fellow professionals If applying as a COTA, openness to on-site supervision provided by a licensed OT Strong organizational skills and travel flexibility between locations within the area Your focus: Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to students ages 3-4 Engaging in early intervention strategies as part of a multi-disciplinary team Documenting assessments, progress notes, and plans in compliance with school policies Communicating effectively with educators and family members to encourage carryover of skills Traveling onsite to designated locations to work directly with children This is a rewarding opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of young learners, while enjoying a schedule that leaves room for other pursuits. As the sole provider in this role, you'll truly see the difference your expertise can make. Embrace this chance to enrich your career and touch young lives.
