Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' growth by providing occupational therapy services onsite across a range of grade levels. This contract role serves students from TK through 12th grade, working with approximately 55 students at multiple school sites. The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, through February 12, 2027, with the possibility of extension through the school year. Key responsibilities include delivering evidence-based OT interventions in alignment with students' IEP goals and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. You'll participate in and occasionally lead IEP meetings, advocate for student needs, and ensure accurate documentation and service tracking are completed using digital platforms and systems. Your expertise will help address students' access, participation, and functional skills within the educational setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active California Occupational Therapist license (required) Previous experience serving as a contributing member or leader in IEP meetings Familiarity with SEIS is preferred Proficiency in using digital documentation systems and general technological fluency Strong teamwork and communication skills Previous experience with a TK-12th grade school-based caseload is a plus
