Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with PreK-8th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year! This role is based near Laurel Hill, NC, and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Make a positive impact by supporting the learning, development, and functional independence of children across school and home health settings.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials required Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric therapy preferred Background in home health or related healthcare OT settings highly valued Confidence in developing and delivering IEP goals, as well as collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in PreK-8th grade Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs Adapt interventions for diverse learning needs in classroom and home environments Engage families and educators to support student progress and carry-over of strategies Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services rendered Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as needed Enjoy a role with the opportunity to collaborate across educational and healthcare environments.
