Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services in a supportive school environment. As a part-time occupational therapist, you'll play a key role in empowering students to reach their full potential and succeed both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students across various grade levels Enthusiasm for making a positive impact in educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' motor, perceptual, and functional abilities through standardized and informal assessments Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs and goals Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students during the school day Document progress, maintain comprehensive records, and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support skill development and generalization in classroom activities Help adapt classroom materials and environments to support student participation and accessibility Why Apply?
