Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year supporting K-12 students across a district near El Prado, NM. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload while helping students reach their fullest potential in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active New Mexico OT license required Current NPI and Medicaid provider number Prior school-based OT experience strongly preferred Familiarity with supporting K-12 students across diverse needs Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environmentWhat You'll Do:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to a district-wide K-12 caseload (approximately 30-35 students) Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement interventions Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings Utilize evidence-based practices to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and access-to-curriculum needs Travel to assigned schools within the district as needed Details at aGlance:
