Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school environment near Temecula, CA. You'll play a crucial role in shaping young lives, working collaboratively with educators and families to promote student independence and success. Your expertise and compassion will help children reach important developmental milestones and achieve their academic goals. Preferred candidates will bring knowledge of school-based or pediatric OT practices, strong communication skills, and a proactive, student-centered approach.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Active Occupational Therapy license in California Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong organizational and documentation skills Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as prescribed in IEPs Assess student needs and create tailored treatment plans Collaborate with teachers and staff to support academic and social participation Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state standards Engage with families and caregivers, offering resources and recommendations Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
