Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity delivering vital Occupational Therapy services in a vibrant school setting. This full-time contract position spans the entire school year and offers the chance to work directly with students, fostering meaningful progress in their educational journeys. The ideal candidate is eager to make an impact through hands-on support, whether you're a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working within a school-based environment preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Commitment to providing services exclusively in person
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy sessions and interventions to students with diverse needs, helping them achieve individual goals Conduct assessments to inform personalized treatment plans and recommendations Collaborate closely with teaching staff, other allied professionals, and families to integrate therapy into students' daily routines Maintain clear, accurate documentation of progress and compliance with all relevant regulations Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise regarding students' occupational therapy requirements
