Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs across a range of ages and developmental levels Reliable transportation for travel between assigned school sites

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students as indicated by IEPs Complete thorough assessments and participate in eligibility determinations for students referred for therapy services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at supporting students' access to the curriculum and school environment Provide training and guidance to school staff and parents regarding strategies that promote student mobility, participation, and independence Accurately document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in IEP meetings and through ongoing communication This opportunity is perfect for a compassionate professional who finds joy in helping young people overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
