Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by bringing your expertise as a Physical Therapist to support school communities for the upcoming academic year. This contract-based opportunity, located near Maple Grove, MN, is ideal if you are looking to enrich students' independence and wellbeing in a collaborative, educational environment.
What You Bring:
A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT). Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Creativity, flexibility, and a compassionate approach. Preparedness to work within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP meetings.
What You'll Do:
Deliver therapeutic services for students requiring physical therapy as part of their educational plan. Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine progress and make necessary modifications. Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other therapists to provide holistic care. Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and physical access. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with educational and professional standards.
