Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with passionate educators and dedicated families as you provide district-wide PT services, fostering student mobility and success across multiple campuses.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education documentation Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to travel between school sites as needed Commitment to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to K-12 students across the district Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support students' motor skills, mobility, and participation in educational activities Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams regarding student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals Offer ongoing support and training to educational staff to implement strategies and accommodations
