Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Valid Physical Therapist license recognized in California Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred Flexibility to travel between different school sites within the district Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants effectively Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable and will be prioritized Commitment to fostering student independence and participationResponsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services and interventions according to student IEPs Assess, develop, and implement customized treatment plans for students with varying needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants across multiple sites Maintain thorough and timely documentation of interventions and student outcomes Liaise with administrative staff and participate in IEP meetings as required What toExpect:
