Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing expert psychological services at two schools in the Holton area. In this contract role, you'll support a diverse K-12 caseload of 63 students, helping foster positive learning environments and equitable access to education. With a 21-hour workweek, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule while collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain state credentials Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred Strong knowledge of initial and 3-year re-evaluation processes Familiarity with pre-referral interventions and manifestation determination hearings Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and across various school sites
What You'll Do:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in initial and triennial evaluations Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions Provide support and guidance during manifestation determination hearings related to student discipline Collaborate on pre-referral intervention strategies to assist students in need Maintain thorough documentation as required by educational guidelines and best practices Advocate for students' academic and social-emotional success across two assigned schools This role begins August 3, 2026 and offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success and well-being of students in a supportive educational community.
