Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students and educators as a School Psychologist in a contract position, with the option for virtual work. This opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention, collaborating closely with school staff and families to foster a positive educational environment. Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure meeting state requirements Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling in school settings Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms and technology (for remote applicants) Commitment to advocating for student needs and educational equity
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluations Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 Plans Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to design effective interventions Support a positive school climate by implementing evidence-based social-emotional learning strategies Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Offer virtual or onsite services, according to school and family needs This contract role provides the flexibility to work on-site or virtually, making it ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic work environment.
