Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated professional serving a diverse school community. This contract position offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in a supportive educational environment where your expertise in psychology and public health will be highly valued.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Experience in educational or public health settings Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational skills and a passion for helping youth succeed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform instruction and supports Collaborate with teachers, families, and other stakeholders to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and mental health services to students, supporting their emotional well-being Advocate for effective interventions at the individual, group, and systems level Support crisis intervention, prevention, and response initiatives within the school Participate actively in meetings and provide expertise to inform school policies on student mental health and public health issues
