Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position, beginning August 6th, 2026 and concluding May 21st, 2027, invites passionate and skilled professionals to make a meaningful impact in educational environments. With a flexible schedule offering 16 hours per week, you'll enjoy the autonomy to arrange your hours in a way that best fits your work-life balance—all while supporting two campuses and working with a diverse K-12 caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for Nebraska certification) Experience working with K-12 students in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention planning Deep understanding of special education regulations and multidisciplinary team collaboration Excellent communication and organizational abilities Dedication to fostering inclusive educational environments and supporting student success
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students, identifying learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, families, and administrators to inform intervention strategies and educational planning Deliver short-term, evidence-based counseling services when appropriate Provide consultation and professional development to school staff on student mental health and behavioral concerns Drive positive outcomes and support a supportive school climate across two campuses Experience flexibility and the fulfillment of directly contributing to student growth and well-being.
