Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist position is available at a school in Crane, MT. This contract role focuses on providing vital psychological services to support student learning and well-being within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans Assist in crisis intervention and mental health initiatives within the school setting Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field State certification or licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility) Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans in K-12 settings Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education and mental health services Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality
