Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your expertise in psychological assessment and intervention will contribute to creating inclusive learning settings and promoting student well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and providing direct services to students Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support Knowledge of IEP development and participation in student support meetings
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments to students and interpret findings for educational planning Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop strategies addressing academic and behavioral challenges Participate in team meetings to collaborate on student evaluation and placement Provide short-term individual or group counseling to support students' emotional and behavioral needs Assist in implementing school-wide programs that foster a positive learning environment Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state policies This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections within the school community, contribute your expertise to foster student success, and enjoy the flexibility of a contract role.
