Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by bringing your expertise to a collaborative, student-centered school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate School Psychologist ready to create supportive, inclusive learning environments. You'll join an energized team dedicated to fostering academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention Knowledge of IEP process and compliance with special education laws Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop effective, evidence-based intervention and support plans
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments Collaborate with educators and families to interpret results and develop actionable recommendations Participate actively in Response to Intervention (RTI) and IEP meetings Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Support the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) Offer consultative expertise to teachers and staff regarding mental health and best practices in classroom management Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines You'll be empowered to innovate and connect with a network of education professionals while helping students reach their full potential.
