School Psych | Morton, Illinois ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Morton, IL Job Details Full-time $39.92 - $69.92 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist. This is a maternity leave coverage role, spanning October through November, working across two school buildings with a collaborative, student-focused environment. Your time will be split between an elementary school (K-5) and a middle school (grades 7-8), where you'll work closely with educators, staff, and families to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist (as required by state regulations) Experience working in both elementary and middle school settings Strong skills in assessments, interventions, and counseling Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt quickly in new environments and provide support during transitions
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to support student learning and well-being Provide counseling services for individual students and small groups Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop effective IEPs and interventions Support positive behavior strategies and crisis management as needed Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for student planning and review Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district standards
