Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting students' education journeys in a dynamic school environment located near Newnan, GA. While the specific caseload is currently being finalized, you'll play a vital role in promoting students' mental well-being, academic success, and personal growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current and valid School Psychologist certification for Georgia Experience working within a K-12 school setting is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and student-centered support
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' learning, behavior, and emotional needs Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in small groups Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and educational plans Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based supports in the classroom Offer guidance to families and educators on best practices in supporting student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, services provided, and progress monitoring Stay informed on the latest best practices and compliance requirements in school psychology If you are passionate about fostering student growth and well-being within a supportive educational setting, we encourage you to apply for this impactful School Psychologist position for the 2026-2027 school year.
