Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist, supporting students as part of a dedicated Preschool Assessment Team. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about making a difference while enjoying the flexibility of contract work. You'll play a crucial role during a maternity leave period, with opportunities to work closely with educators and families in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions for preschool-aged children throughout the next school year. What we're looking for: Valid School Psychologist credential and required state licensure Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting Experience with or interest in early childhood and preschool populations Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities: Conduct assessments for preschool-aged students, including cognitive, social-emotional, and academic evaluations Participate as an essential member of the Preschool Assessment Team, contributing expertise to eligibility and service recommendations Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and related service providers to support individualized student growth Develop thorough, compliance-driven reports and participate in IEP meetings as needed Serve as a resource for early intervention strategies and best practices for preschoolers Support families as they navigate evaluations and educational recommendations This is a unique opportunity to share your expertise, support early learners, and make a meaningful impact throughout a maternity leave period extending until October 16, 2026.
