Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role for the 2026-2027 academic year as a School Psychologist, where you'll have the opportunity to support students' academic and emotional growth. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement required Proven experience conducting assessments and providing counseling within a school setting Strong understanding of
RTI/MTSS, IEP
process, and special education compliance Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, school staff, and families Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective interventions Support the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide counseling services individually and in small groups, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in compliance with state and federal guidelines Contribute to crisis intervention and participate in training sessions and school initiatives related to social-emotional learning Enjoy the flexibility of a contract assignment, providing a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic school environment.
