Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist in Rochester, MN, offering an opportunity to support the educational and emotional well-being of students. Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Proficient in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Location:
Rochester, MN Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' educational and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers and families to design and implement intervention strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when needed Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education services Stay updated on best practices and new research in school psychology
