Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an enriching professional experience as a school psychologist working full-time in a welcoming district renowned for its collaborative staff and supportive environment. This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students in both elementary and middle school settings, helping them flourish academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and counseling for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies for student success Conduct evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary meetings Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed Offer support and professional insights to staff and families to foster a positive, inclusive school climate
Qualifications:
Active Washington School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification through OSPI) Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Experience in elementary and/or middle school settings preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation Ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering equity and supporting diverse student needs This full-time, onsite position consists of 40 hours per week, exclusively at district locations (hybrid or remote work not available).
